Series description

Electrification plays a central role in the transition towards a sustainable energy system. As industries, mobility and the built environment switch from fossil fuels to electricity, the demand for renewable power and grid capacity continues to grow.

The Electrification series explores this transition from different perspectives. Experts from the energy sector, government and industry discuss the development of the energy system, grid congestion, industrial electrification, Smart Energy Hubs, energy storage and the expansion of the high-voltage grid. The series concludes with an international outlook on the future of electricity.

You will gain valuable insights into the interaction between technology, infrastructure, markets and policy within an increasingly electrified energy system.
