Programme Description

Following the ‘Energy Academy Certificate’ course allows everyone with an interest to learn about the energy transition in an interdisciplinary way. Throughout the academic year, interesting and inspiring lectures are held by top speakers from the Netherlands and abroad. To obtain the Energy Academy Certificate, you must follow 10 activities (physically or via our online library) and apply the knowledge you have acquired. This can be done in two ways:

  1. As a student of Hanze UAS or University of Groningen, you have to complete a minimum of 30 ECTS of interdisciplinary energy education
  2. If you are not a student at one of these universities or if you do not follow energy education, you have to write an Energy Change Paper

Obtaining the Energy Academy Certificate gives you a good basis for working on the energy transition and puts you one step ahead of others on your CV.

How does it work?

Energy Learning Activities

Make sure you participate in 10 Energy Learning Activities during the course of your study. You can start at any time, as long as you have completed 10 Learning Activities upon graduation. We organise a minimum of 20 Energy Learning Activities per year: lectures, masterclasses, excursions, symposia, and debates, all on topics related to the energy transition.

Every month we publish an update of our Energy Learning Activities. Do you want to keep up to date? Follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram or register for our newsletter.
