Wind Meets Gas is a two-day annual symposium organised by New Energy Coalition and discusses the latest developments on the road to the green energy system of the future. This year the symposium focusses on the North Sea Energy Issue (day 1) and Connecting Hydrogen Valleys (day 2). Next to plenary sessions with high level speakers, there are interactive workshops of which ‘Hydrogen from harbour to households & industry’ is a learning activity. What is the role of harbors and investors in the energy transition? Are they needed in speeding up energy transition? And what are harbors doing in carbon capture? Is net-zero an option? Two companies with big interests in Groningen Seaports, Gasunie and Tennet, in discussion with six students of the Hanze University of Applied Science and the University of Groningen.
