AsserEnergie is a local energy cooperative in Assen, dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. The cooperative develops and operates renewable energy projects, including large-scale solar parks such as the Energietuin Assen-Zuid, which provides clean electricity to thousands of households.

14:00 Gather at main station Groningen
14:15 Travel to Assen-Zuid by train and bus
15:00 Excursion and presentation through the ‘Energy Garden’
16:30 Return to Groningen
