The first excursion of this academic year will bring you to this wasteplant to show the importance and benefits of a solid waste disposal system.

Program:

The excursion starts at 13:00 at the Groningen central station. Expected time of return is 17:00.

Omrin was  the winner of the award ‘Most Sustainable Company in the Netherlands’ in 2020.  It is dealing with garbage from 9000 big and small companies and turning this into useful matter. Green gas for their own trucks for example. Join this free excursion to find out what else their work entails.
