The energy transition is accelerating at unprecedented speed. Yet, the technologies we rely on reveal a material challenge that is often ignored.
Wind turbines, solar panels and battery systems are essential, but they depend on fragile supply chains and critical raw materials.
Many of these products are also not designed to last, be reused or easily recycled. As deployment rises, so do geopolitical tensions, waste volumes and dependency risks.
