The Energy Academy is part of the New Energy Coalition. But what is happening at the New Energy Coalition?  We will discuss three projects were we are working on. The topics will cover Carbon Capture and Storage, the Northern Netherlands as Hydrogen Valley and the challenge of turning islands in smart energy systems.

  • Find out what projects New Energy Coalition is involved in
  • Get to know the ins and outs of three of our projects
  • Learn what the role of our colleagues are

In the webinar, three projects will be discussed: SMILE, ConsenCUS and HEAVENN.  ConsenCUS focusses on carbon neutral clusters through electricity-based innovations in Capture, Utilisation and Storage. The SMILE project will demonstrate nine different smart grid technologies on three different islands. The end goal of the project is to foster the market introduction of these nine technologies. HEAVENN is realizing the large-scale production of green hydrogen as a raw material for industry, the storage, transport and distribution of hydrogen and its application for energy supply for both industry and the built environment and in mobility.
