Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage

  • Learn about the different possibilities with carbon capture
  • See the technological and financial challenges
  • Discover the global potential impact of the technology

CCUS technology involves capturing carbon dioxide emissions from industrial processes or power plants, using the captured CO2 in various applications such as the production of synthetic fuels, or storing the CO2 underground to prevent its release into the atmosphere. This process can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help mitigate climate change.

What role will CCUS play in the energy transition? But how far along is the technology? What are the costs? And what are the policies on this? These are questions that will be answered during the lecture.
